Gordon Moore, founder of Intel, stated that every 18 months, processing power doubles, while the cost remains constant. The implications of Moore's Law are that every 18 months technology is going to cost half as much and be twice as powerful. Moore's Law is valid for more 30 years. Pre-modern economies were built on the laws and values of scarcity. You have a limited supply of resources, so value is determined by their availability. You will lose energy if you consume more resources.

Thirty-five minutes later, the PowerPoint's presentation is done. The business people present are frustrated and angry. IT staff are puzzled at what just happened. Their brilliantly detailed and highly accurate PowerPoint presentation was interrupted by questions unrelated to the technology. The help desk wanted to know how new technology would reduce call processing time. The accounting department wanted to understand how the blockchain technology would integrate with the general ledger. The sales organization was unsure why the change was needed. The sales organization knew the system and didn’t see any problem. It was a promising and creative start that ended up in confusion and heartache. What went wrong?

That was just a few years ago. Many things have happened since then, not only in my small village, but across the globe. Technology is disrupting all aspects human life and our lives have changed. Industries are being demolished, and new industries are being developed. Our lexicons continually evolve to accommodate the latest tech-evolutions.

If your growth strategy requires a team of independently operating sales reps, make sure your IT supports that in the most cost and time efficient way possible. Your work flow should be more fluid and require that you move from person A to person B to persons C. If it doesn’t, you will be spending time and money.

Because they are the creators of technology, nerds are often the ones who embrace it. Bill Gates and Steve Job, real life «nerds», have had a huge impact on everyday life. It is the nerd with the ability to think ahead, to find new solutions and ideas for problems presented to society that has the most influence.

Technology changes faster than ever. Don't accept the one-sided view that «IT is a never ending expense with no return». Instead, accept technology that is right for you today and will grow with your business in the future. Accept that upgrades are as essential as ongoing product development, sales training and team building. Do not wait until all your technology has become obsolete and is no longer supported by the industry or the software industry. This could lead to a huge upgrade bill.

It doesn't matter when you want to unwind, but setting boundaries around the technology usage will help you relax. You can also build stronger relationships with your friends and reduce your stress levels by deliberately disengaging.

While technology is able to make our lives easier, the misuse of technology is what's causing stress. For instance, high-speed internet speeds allow you to quickly access critical information. The downside is that you can easily get lost in the blackhole of the internet and spend hours browsing the razer computer. This leads to increased stress.

This is an idealistic vision of the future, created by my 23-year-old science fiction fan (yours truly). Although it is impossible to predict the future, I was able to get an idea from people who may have an idea of how technology will look in 10 years.

When trying to implement technology in their school, administrators should consider how students feel about it. While it is easy to assume that kids want everything on the smallest computer and high-tech, most often they don't. Students like technology, but when it comes to school, sometimes the old-fashioned way is better. Teachers need to realize that as helpful as technology can be it can be equally as distracting. Students can admit to being distracted by technology outside of school and still enjoy the opportunity to be away.

It is essential to realize that technology is so dependent on us, and we need to be up to date. If you have been an internet user for 10+ years but are not up to date with current trends, this would indicate that you are not fully using the blockchain technology. Deceptacons (military and non-automobile robotics) cause great destruction on Earth. We are saved by Optimus (an 18-wheeler), and his Autobots. (A variety cars, trucks and forms Civilian transportation). This also shows a slight fear of military invasion, a worry that war has ruined our society.
